Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), leading two-wheeler manufacturer, reported an increase of 58.57% in net profit for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014. During the quarter net profit stood at Rs 7.63 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 4.81 billion in the same period last year.
The company saw an increase of 20.77% in total income to Rs 69.15 billion from Rs 57.26 billion in the same quarter last year.
Shares of the company declined Rs 16.65, or 0.6%, to trade at Rs 2,775.20. The total volume of shares traded was 27,574 at the BSE (9.50 a.m., Friday).
