Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, witnessed a gain in share price on Monday after launching new solo brand 'Hero' in Colombia, six of its best-selling bikes went on sale in 120 outlets spread across the country. The company plans to expand its distribution network to over 150 outlets in a year's time.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 3,192.70, up Rs 50.5, or 1.61% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 11:53 a.m. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 3,197.50 and low of Rs 3,150. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 8,096.
