Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after the company announced a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 1.14% to Rs 7,720.60 million from Rs 7,633.70 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 2.38% to Rs 69,396.80 million, compared with Rs 71,088.50 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Hero Motocorp are trading at Rs 2,630.50, up Rs 25.45, or 1.00% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 10:31 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 11.53% to 287,360 compared with 22-day average volume of 324,819.
