Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) said that the Corporation allotted 4,75,405 equity shares of Rs 2 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 314,72,00,360 consisting of 157,36,00,180 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the company declined Rs 24.1, or 1.73%, to settle at Rs 1,364.95. The total volume of shares traded was 78,856 at the BSE (Monday).
