Payworld, an intelligent electronic transaction platform has tied up with HCL Infosystems, India's premier IT services and distribution company, to make available a wide range of HCL distributed products to Payworld users across India. A pilot is being launched in pockets of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Rajasthan.

Once we launch the pilot and implement the learnings, we will roll out the same product or add more to the portfolio across India in all places where Payworld is present," says Praveen Dhabhai, COO of Payworld, part of the USD 2 billion Sugal and Damani Group.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.25, or 3.46%, to trade at Rs 34.85. The total volume of shares traded was 315,436 at the BSE (2.49 p.m., Wednesday).
