Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), one of the India's leading infrastructure companies, witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after it has been awarded contract worth Rs 3.92 billion from the ministry of road transport and highway (MoRTH) for 4-laning of 26km long road on NH52 between Jamugurihat to Biswanath Chariali by-pass in Assam.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 32.80, up Rs 1.75, or 5.64% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 3:11 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 33.25 and low of Rs 31.30. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 2,039,171.
