Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Monday after it has been awarded Rs 2.78 billion contract by the Public Works Department (PWD) of New Delhi. This is the forth order within a month that has added Rs 13.06 billion to the order book of HCC.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 34.05, up Rs 0.8, or 2.41% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12:42 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 35.05 and low of Rs 32.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,361,861.
