GTL Infra surges 5% on tower sharing deal with Rel Jio

GTL Infrastructure witnessed a sharp rise in share prices on Friday after signing master services agreement (MSA) with Reliance Jio Infocomm (Reliance Jio) for tower infrastructure sharing. GTL has a pan India tower portfolio that is balanced across key growth regions of Metros and B & C class circles.

GTL Infra, together with Chennai Network Infrastructure (CNIL), has a combined tower portfolio of more than 27,800 towers spread across 22 telecom Circles in India, and serving all the major telecom operators.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 3.16, up Rs 0.15, or 4.98% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 10:03 a.m. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 3.16 and low of Rs 3.08. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 17,831,370.
