GMR Infrastructure has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) for providing financial assistance to Japanese companies investing in infrastructure projects of GMR group.

The objective of this MoU is to provide low cost long duration financial for infrastructure development projects that involve Japanese companies in development of industrial parks, power, energy, ports, airports, highways and railway projects.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.55, or 2.14%, to trade at Rs 26.30. The total volume of shares traded was 1,145,453 at the BSE (12.51 p.m., Tuesday).
