The International crude oil price of Indian Basket declined 2.95% to USD 46.36 a barrel (bbl) on Aug. 20, 2015 as against USD 47.77 a bbl on Aug. 19, 2015.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 3,024.53 a bbl on Aug. 20, 2015 as compared to Rs 3,115.56 a bbl on Aug. 19, 2015.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs 65.24 per USD on Aug. 20, 2015 as against Rs 65.22 per USD on Aug. 19, 2015.

Indian equities continued to decline for the second day on Friday. Both Sensex and Nifty were trading below 2-month low. At 10.38., the Sensex was trading down 422.54 points or 1.53% at 27,185.28. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 112.85 points or 1.35% at 8,259.90.
