Gammon Infrastructure Projects witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after the company's wholly owned subsidiary Pravara Renewable Energy (PREL), completely synchronized its 30MW Bagasse based cogeneration power project at Pravaranagar, Dist. Ahmednagar, Maharashtra on Nov. 06, 2015.
The company has also started the commercial production of electricity and export of power to state grid.
PREL has signed the power purchase agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. for 13 years on the preferential tariff as decided by Maharashtra State Electricity Regulatory Commission from time to time.
Shares of Gammon Infrastructure Projects are trading at Rs 7.34, up 4.56% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 7.73 and low of Rs 7.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 88,385.
