Gammon Infra arm commissions power project in Maharashtra

Gammon Infrastructure Projects, wholly owned subsidiary Pravara Renewable Energy (PREL), has commissioned its 30MW Bagasse based cogeneration power project at Pravaranagar, Dist. Ahmednagar, Maharashtra on Nov. 06, 2015.

The company has also started the commercial production of electricity and export of power to state grid.

PREL has signed the power purchase agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co.  for 13 years on the preferential tariff as decided by Maharashtra State Electricity Regulatory Commission from time to time.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.29, or 4.137%, to trade at Rs 7.31. The total volume of shares traded was 86,284 at the BSE (1.09 p.m., Tuesday).
