Gammon India, construction and engineering company, witnessed a gained in share price on Thursday after it announced securing two projects in environment & transportation sector worth around Rs 8.40 billion. Out of the total, one order is worth Rs 5.16 billion while the other one is for Rs 3.23 billion.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 23.50, up Rs 2.75, or 13.25% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:56 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 24.90 and low of Rs 23.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 412,717.
