Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Kotak Mahindra Bank over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding increased by 159 basis points to 36.85 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 35.26 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding decreased by 17 basis points to 1.86 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 2.03 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 21.14 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 138 basis points from 22.52 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 3.3 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 32 basis points from 3.62 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Promoters have reduced shareholding in Kotak Mahindra Bank over the last three months. Promoters have reduced shareholding by 3 basis points to 40.02 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 40.05 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 13.25, or 0.92%, to trade at Rs 1,459. The total volume of shares traded was 27,993 at the BSE (1.24 p.m., Wednesday).
