Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank. FIIs' shareholding increased by 105 basis points to 41.10 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 40.05 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced shareholding in the company. DIIs' shareholding decreased by 95 basis points to 22.33 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 23.28 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 7.47 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 7 basis points from 7.54 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 2.21 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 6 basis points from 2.27 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 41.9, or 2.86%, to settle at Rs 1,505.60. The total volume of shares traded was 174,976 at the BSE (Friday).
