Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in HCL Technologies, the leading software exporters. FIIs' shareholding increased by 25 basis points to 29.10 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 28.85 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced shareholding in the company. DIIs' shareholding decreased by 12 basis points to 3.62 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 3.74 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 5.75 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 2 basis points from 5.77 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 2.12 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 7 basis points from 2.05 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 3.4, or 0.23%, to trade at Rs 1,500.30. The total volume of shares traded was 59,795 at the BSE (1.13 p.m., Tuesday).
