Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Wipro over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding increased by 184 basis points to 10.71 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 8.87 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding decreased by 35 basis points to 4.36 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 4.71 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 9.58 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 148 basis points from 11.06 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 2.69 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 62 basis points from 3.31 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Promoters have reduced shareholding in Wipro over the last three months. Promoters have reduced shareholding by 1 basis points to 73.39 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 73.4 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 6.85, or 1.1%, to trade at Rs 616.60. The total volume of shares traded was 25,036 at the BSE (12.02 p.m., Wednesday).
