Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Lupin over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding increased by 292 basis points to 34.69 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 31.77 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding decreased by 206 basis points to 8.67 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 10.73 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 10.01 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 83 basis points from 10.84 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 1.14 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, down 90 basis points from 2.04 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Promoters have reduced shareholding in Lupin over the last three months. Promoters have reduced shareholding by 3 basis points to 46.63 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 46.66 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 66.3, or 3.19%, to trade at Rs 2,014.90. The total volume of shares traded was 39,413 at the BSE (12.10 p.m., Thursday).
