Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Canara Bank over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding increased by 39 basis points to 11.21 percent at the end of December 2014 quarter from 10.82 percent as on Sep. 30, 2014.
While domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have raised shareholding in Canara Bank over the last three months. DIIs' shareholding increased by 46 basis points to 13.17 percent at the end of December 2014 quarter from 12.71 percent as on Sep 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 6.62 percent stake at the end of December 2014 quarter, down 85 basis points from 7.47 percent as on Sep 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 1.24 percent stake at the end of December 2014 quarter, down 21 basis points from 1.45 percent as on Sep 30, 2014.
Shares of the bank declined Rs 8.55, or 1.9%, to trade at Rs 441.45. The total volume of shares traded was 84,945 at the BSE (12.25 p.m., Tuesday).
