Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Biocon over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding decreased by 98 basis points to 13.05 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 14.03 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have raised shareholding in Biocon over the last three months. DIIs' shareholding increased by 92 basis points to 6.95 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 6.03 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 19.03 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 6 basis points from 18.97 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 2.14 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 29 basis points from 2.43 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Promoters' shareholding was unchanged at 60.97 percent at the end of September 2014. Indian promoters' shareholding was unchanged at 40.37 percent at the end of September 2014. Foreign promoters' shareholding was unchanged at 20.6 percent at the end of September 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 6.1, or 1.23%, to trade at Rs 489.05. The total volume of shares traded was 24,231 at the BSE (10.10 a.m., Wednesday).
