Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Kotak Mahindra Bank, one of the leading private sector lenders. FIIs' shareholding decreased by 48 basis points to 34.61 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 35.09 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have increased shareholding in Kotak Mahindra Bank. DIIs' shareholding increased by 23 basis points to 2.01 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 1.78 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 23.19 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 55 basis points from 22.64 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 3.67 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 27 basis points from 3.40 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
On the other hand, promoters' shareholding decreased by 26 basis points to 40.07 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 40.33 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 13, or 1.29%, to trade at Rs 998. The total volume of shares traded was 21,986 at the BSE (1.23 p.m., Thursday).
