Escorts Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) tractor sales declined 33.70% to 2,402 units in August 2015 against 3,624 units in the same period last year.

The company's domestic tractor sales in Aug'15 stood at 2,355 units against 3,147 in Aug'14.

EAMs tractor exports dropped 90.10% to 47 units in Aug'15 against 477 units in the same period last year.

Shares of the company declined Rs 9.05, or 5.21%, to settle at Rs 164.80. The total volume of shares traded was 509,035 at the BSE (Tuesday).

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 103.15% to 2,846,388 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,401,125.
