Eros Int'l announces first ever Sino-Indian co-production with CFC

Eros International, India's leading global film company in the Indian film entertainment space, has announced the launch its first ever Sino-Indian film, DA TANG XUAN ZANG (Monk Xuan Zang) in collaboration with Chinese state owned production company, Chinese Film Corporation (CFC).

On the eve of PM Modi's highly anticipated visit to China, comes this landmark announcement. With this news, Eros International becomes the first Indian studio to associate with the Chinese government and co-produce an Indo-Sino film. The movie which is based on the life of a Chinese monk (Monk Xuanzang) stars  popular and multi talented Chinese actor, Huang Xiaoming and will be directed by Huo Jianq.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.85, or 2.2%, to trade at Rs 411. The total volume of shares traded was 5,669 at the BSE (10.05 a.m., Friday).
