Engineers India, a state run engineering and related technical services provider witnessed a rise in share prices on Tuesday after the company has secured a consultancy contract from Assam Petrochemicals. The said contract is for Assam Petrochemicals' proposed 500 TPD Methanol Plant and 200 TPD Acetic Acid Plant at Namrup, Assam.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 256.05, up Rs 3.7, or 1.47% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 9:56 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 259.50 and low of Rs 253.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 65,863.
