Emami acquires Fravin

Emami, a leading player in the personal and healthcare consumer products, announced that Emami Overseas FZE (based in UAE), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company has acquired controlling stake of 66.67% in Fravin Pty, a company based in Australia with major strength in R&D and manufacture of natural and organic personal care products in Australia.  Consequent to the above acquisition, Fravin Pty alongwith its three subsidiary companies have also become subsidiaries of Emami.
Shares of the company gained Rs 35.55, or 4.14%, to trade at Rs 894 at the BSE (11.33 a.m., Thursday).
