Eicher Trucks & Buses, the leading brand from VE commercial vehicles strengthened its presence in the mining and construction sector through an expansion of its product portfolio and showcasing a series of tippers in the Pro 6000 and 8000 category.

These include the launch of Pro 8031XM 8x4 tipper with 330 HP with rock body and box body options for mining and Pro 6025T 6x4 box body with 220 HP and RMC with 210 HP for construction sectors. With these, Eicher is now fully equipped to address two critical segments of mining and construction.

Pierre Jean Verge Salamon, president of Volvo Group Trucks India, said, ''The VE Commercial vehicles Joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors has been extremely successful for the last 7 years due to strong collaboration and synergies between the two companies.''

Shares of the company declined Rs 196.3, or 1.18%, to settle at Rs 16,453.00. The total volume of shares traded was 5,065 at the BSE (Thursday).
