Eicher Motors, one of the leading players in automobile industry, announced total motorcycle sales of 35,354 units in May 2015 as compared to 25,010 units in May 2014, representing a growth of 41%.

Models with engine capacity upto 350cc witnessed a 40% growth in sales to 31,227 vehicles compared with 22,356 units in the same month last year.

Meanwhile models with engine capacity exceeding upto 350cc recorded an 56% growth in sales to 4,127 vehicles, compared with 2,654 units in the same month last year.

Shares of the company declined Rs 43.8, or 0.23%, to trade at Rs 18,670. The total volume of shares traded was 9,921 at the BSE (3.02 p.m., Monday).
