Eicher Motors, one of the leading players in automobile industry, witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after the RBI has notified that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Registered Foreign Portfolios Investors (RFPIs) can now invest up to 49% of the paid up capital of Eicher Motors under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS).
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 16,017.50, up Rs 155.7, or 0.98% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:37 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 16,350 and low of Rs 16,017.50. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 2,193.
