Dr Reddy's Laboratories has launched Esomeprazole Magnesium delayed-release capsules USP, 20 mg and 40 mg, a therapeutic equivalent generic version of NEXIUM (Esomeprazole Magnesium) delayed-release capsules in the US market on Sept. 25, 2015, following the approval by the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA).

According to IMS Health, the NEXIUM (Esomeprazole Magnesium) delayed-release capsules brand and generic had US sales of approximately USD 5.2 billion MAT for the most recent twelve months ending in July 2015.

The company's Esomeprazole Magnesium delayed-release capsules USP, 20 mg and 40 mg are available in bottle count size of 30.

Shares of the company gained Rs 226.35, or 5.7%, to trade at Rs 4,198.00. The total volume of shares traded was 23,345 at the BSE (10.36 a.m., Monday).
