Dr Reddy's Laboratories said that the nomination, governance & compensation committee of the board of directors of the company has allotted 30,800 equity shares of Rs 5 each of the company, fully paid up to employees on exercise of their stock options.

The company said, 20,153 equity shares of Rs 5 each pursuant to Dr Reddy's employees stock option scheme, 2002. And 10,647 equity shares of Rs 51 each underlying 10,647 ADRs pursuant to Dr Reddy's employees ADR stock option scheme, 2007.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.3, or 0.18%, to settle at Rs 3,000.20. The total volume of shares traded was 9,540 at the BSE (Thursday).
