Domestic passenger car sales increased by 18.14% to 1,59,548 units in April this year compared with 1,35,054 in the same month of 2014, according to data released by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). 

On the other hand, total two-wheeler sales in April 2015 went down 0.16% to 12,87,064 units from 12,89,183 in the year-ago period.

Motorcycle sales last month were down 2.77% at 8,81,751 units from 9,06,909 in the same month of the previous year, it added.
