Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced shareholding in Biocon over the last three months. DIIs' shareholding decreased by 96 basis points to 7.37 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 8.33 percent as on Jun 30, 2015.
On the other hand, Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) shareholding increased by 24 basis points to 11.83 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 11.59 percent as on Jun 30, 2015.
Non Institutions were holding 19.78 percent stake at the end of September 2015 quarter, up 72 basis points from 19.06 percent as on Jun 30, 2015.
Corporate bodies were holding 1.44 percent stake at the end of September 2015 quarter, down 11 basis points from 1.55 percent as on Jun 30, 2015.
Promoters' shareholding was unchanged at 61.02 percent at the end of September 2015.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.1, or 0.24%, to trade at Rs 450.25. The total volume of shares traded was 6,726 at the BSE (11.15 a.m., Wednesday).
