Diamond Power Infrastructure witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Monday after it disclosed a good increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 29.23% to Rs 403.20 million from Rs 312 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 34.51% to Rs 8,956 million, compared with Rs 6,658 million for the prior year period.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 129.70, up Rs 13.95, or 12.05% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:29 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 133 and low of Rs 122.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 247,076.
