Den Networks shares jumped on Friday after the company entered into a 50:50 joint venture agreement with Jasper Infotech.

The joint venture agreement is for setting up a television channel to be used as a market place platform for facilitating the sale of branded and unbranded merchandise and services, including vouchers offered by third party sellers subject to necessary approvals.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 167, up Rs 4.5, or 2.77% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 9:52 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 170 and low of Rs 165.30. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 14,579.
