Deep Industries shares jump after signing contract with ONGC

Deep Industries witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Tuesday after it announced that the company has signed the contract with ONGC worth Rs. 2.78 billion for hiring Gas Dehydration System for 5 production installations at their Rajahmundry Assets. The duration of the afforesaid contract is for 3 years. The company's primary objective is to cater the ever increasing demand for Oil and Gas Industry. Shares of Deep Industries are trading at Rs 87.90, up Rs 10.6, or 13.71% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 9:50 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 1,996.24% to 1,268,991 compared with 22-day average volume of 60,537.
