Cummins India, engaged in design and manufacture of diesel engines and generator sets, witnessed a rise in share price on Monday after the company announced that it has completed acquisition of the balance 50% shares of Cummins Svam Sales & Service.
Effective Oct. 1, 2015, Cummins Svam Sales & Service has become wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,113.90, up Rs 26.4, or 2.43% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:29 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,115.10 and low of Rs 1,088.20. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 3,216.
