The international crude oil price of Indian basket gained 1.41% to USD 47.34 a barrel (bbl) on Oct. 16, 2015 as against USD 46.68 a bbl on Oct. 15, 2015.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 3,075.65 a bbl on Oct. 16, 2015 as compared to Rs 3,025.97 a bbl on Oct. 15, 2015.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs 64.97 per USD on Oct. 16, 2015 as against Rs 64.82 per USD on Oct. 15, 2015.

Indian equities continued to rally for the third day on Monday. At 11.37 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 49.44 points or 0.18% at 27,264.04 with 9 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 6.55 points or 0.08% at 8,244.70 with 17 components gaining.
