The International crude oil price of Indian Basket gained 1.74% to USD 46.29 a barrel (bbl) on Sept. 17, 2015 as against USD 45.50 a bbl on Sept. 16, 2015.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 3,078.12 a bbl on Sept. 17, 2015 as compared to Rs 3,025.69 a bbl on Sept. 16, 2015.

Rupee closed at Rs 66.50 per USD on Sept. 16, 2015.

Indian markets continued to gain for the second day on Friday. At 11.24 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 412.22 points or 1.59% at 26,376.19. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 132.75 points or 1.68% at 8,031.90.
