Crompton Greaves (CG) gained on Friday after board of directors of the company decided to implement a 100% demerger of the consumer products business, such that the shareholding pattern of the resulting consumer company shall mirror the shareholding pattern of CG.
A scheme of arrangement incorporating will soon be considered by the board of directors.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.4, or 3.01%, to trade at Rs 184.55. The total volume of shares traded was 931,815 at the BSE (12.24 p.m., Friday).
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 189 and low of Rs 181.50. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 931,815.
