Crompton Greaves (CG), an engineering firm, has bagged a prestigious order for 365 kv and 154kv capacitive voltage transformers (CVT) from Korea's Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
CG has excellent track record in KEPCO, its ability to deliver technologically advanced solutions and the shortest delivery period of five months from the contract signing.
The transformers which are scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year are the latest in the trend of using Polymeric Insulated Products in the international market and the largest direct order from the Korean utility for polymeric products.
Shares of the company declined Rs 4.8, or 2.81%, to settle at Rs 166.25. The total volume of shares traded was 252,294 at the BSE (Tuesday).
