Crompton Greaves bags order from ANDE

Avantha Group Company Crompton Greaves (CG) has bagged order from Administracion Nacional de Energia (ANDE), the national electric utility of Paraguay to supply 10 complete ZIV substation automation systems. The scope of the contract also includes engineering services, training and systems integration.

The project, financed by the World Bank, is scheduled to be completed in six months. In January, the World Bank announced a new cooperation strategy with Paraguay for the period 2015-2018, with an indicative amount between USD 1000-1100 million approved in December and which is twice the amount of USD 400 million received from the World Bank in the past.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.2, or 0.73%, to trade at Rs 165.10. The total volume of shares traded was 1,575,605 at the BSE (12.27 p.m., Tuesday).
