Coal India (CIL), an Indian state-controlled coal mining company, has achieved 45.69 million tons of coal production for November 2014, which was 97% of target production of 44.42 million tons.
CIL achieved actual offtake of 43.20 million tons for November 2014, which was 96% of target production of 41.57 million tons for November 2014.
Earlier, the company announced it has achieved 39.74 million tons of coal production for October 2014, which was 101% of target production of 40.20 million tons.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.6, or 0.45%, to trade at Rs 355.30. The total volume of shares traded was 98,694 at the BSE (1.38 p.m., Tuesday).
