Chambal Fertilisers Q3 profit jumps 60%

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 60.32% to Rs 1,447.40 million from Rs 902.82 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 19.69% to Rs 28,246.41 million, compared with Rs 23,599 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.48, registering 60.37% growth over previous year period.
