CG bags order worth Euro 3.4 mn from Saudi Electricity Company

Avantha Group Company Crompton Greaves (CG) has bagged an order worth Euro 3.4 million from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) in the Middle East serving approximately 5 million customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), to supply ZIV three phase smart meters.

CG has bagged the largest lot for the supply of the first batch of industrial smart meters after months of close dedication from its application and sales team to understand the customers need which enabled us to offer a customized and competitive products.

Laurent Demortier, managing director, Avantha Group Company said, "We are very excited to partner with SEC in creating a modern, efficient grid and improve their overall end-user experience by providing a full range of smart grid products and services."

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.95, or 0.54%, to settle at Rs 175.40. The total volume of shares traded was 299,856 at the BSE (Wednesday).
