Crompton Greaves (CG), an engineering firm, has appointed Jean-Michel Aubertin as executive vice president and president of power business unit. Aubertin will also be a member of the executive committee of CG. Aubertin takes over from Jayant G Kulkarni who retires from CG after a successful stint of 34 years.
Jean-Michel with his extensive experience of the global electrical market has spearheaded businesses in various locations including India, Europe and USA. Prior to joining CG he was the CEO and president of Doosan Power Systems.
Shares of the company gained Rs 3, or 1.59%, to trade at Rs 191.80. The total volume of shares traded was 565,686 at the BSE (3.13 p.m., Wednesday).
