Century Plyboards (India) disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.10 times to Rs 413.66 million from Rs 197.40 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 26.26% to Rs 3,858.33 million, compared with Rs 3,056 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.86, registering 2.09 times growth over previous year period.
