Central Bank of India, one of the leading public sector banks, swung to a profit for the year ended March 2015 on . For the year, the bank reported a profit of Rs 6.66 billion compared with a loss of Rs 12.13 billion for the year ended Mar. 31, 2014.
Total income for the year rose 7.45% to Rs 283.76 billion, compared with Rs 264.09 billion for the prior year period.
Shares of the bank declined Rs 0.05, or 0.05%, to trade at Rs 108.60. The total volume of shares traded was 25,385 at the BSE (11.13 a.m., Tuesday).
