Ceat said a substantial rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 33.32% to Rs 892.60 million from Rs 669.50 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 1.29% to Rs 14,201.50 million, compared with Rs 14,386.80 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 23.73, registering 27.44% growth over previous year period.
