BS, a premier EPC and turnkey services provider in the power transmission and distribution sector, announced that it has won an EPC contract worth Rs 2.50 billion for construction of 756 KV double-circuit transmission line between Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and Wardha (Maharashtra). The near 178 km line project is to be completed within the next 12 months.
The scope of the work for BS comprises of survey, foundations, erection, earthing and stringing of lines, including supply of tower and related accessories.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.3, or 3.65%, to trade at Rs 36.95. The total volume of shares traded was 112,994 at the BSE (10 a.m., Tuesday).
