Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after it has achieved another landmark in its after-market-service business by successfully renovating and modernizing unit-2 (110 MW) at Muzzaffarpur Thermal power station plant of Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam in Bihar. Following the successful R&M, the unit has been running on full capacity, ensuring addition of 110 MW to the state of Bihar.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 250, up Rs 4.95, or 2.02% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 11:32 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 250.90 and low of Rs 245.30. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 172,168.
